From Brooklyn to LA: the Nike Dunk Low 'Jackie Robinson' is a Home Run

On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson became the first African American player in Major League Baseball.

Brooklyn’s Ebbets Field was cemented in history as Jackie Robinson broke the game’s color barrier.

As the MLB summer classic takes place at Dodgers stadium 75 years after Robinson took the field, Nike celebrates the revolutionary moment in the sport with a commemorative Dunk Low.

The baseball-inspired Nike Dunk Low 'Jackie Robinson' features key details including his jersey number, baseball-style laces, & a clear message: “I’m not concerned with your liking or disliking me… All I ask is that you respect me as a human being.”
