The Nike Air Max 1 OG ‘86 “Big Bubble” is finally releasing.
In 1986, Tinker Hatfield ushered in a new era of performance running with the design of the Nike Air Max 1. Although the model wouldn't release until 1987, the ad campaign of the shoe featured the shoe with its massive air unit — although the retail version featured a smaller version.
As Nike continues to celebrate the Air Max 1, the Swoosh is finally releasing the OG in its initial form with its enlarged air unit.
The Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG "Big Bubble" will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in men’s and women’s sizing on Air Max Day (Sun., 03.26) at the Uptown Plaza. Doors open at noon.
