The 'Shadow' Legacy of the Air Jordan 1 Continues with the 'Shadow 2.0'

The sneaker world changed in 1985 with the arrival of the Air Jordan 1 as Peter Moore and Nike delivered the Air Jordan 1 to his Airness. The high-top sneaker was engineered to meet the demands of Michael Jordan and take the game to new heights. Little did they all know that it would spark an entire culture, industry, and uncharted legacy that would stretch beyond the court.

The black and grey version, referred to all sneakerheads as the Shadow” colorway, was one original AJ1 High colorways that released in ‘85. Since then, the “Shadow” color combination has been seen throughout the Air Jordan 1 lineage and sneaker culture as a whole. From Aleali May to Dunks, the legacy of the “Shadow” is found everywhere.

Last seen on an AJ1 High in 2018, the “Shadow” colorway returns with a twist as the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow 2.0” is built with a light smoke grey with nubuck materials for a new take on the cult classic.
