In 1985, Jordan Brand debuted the Air Jordan 1 in a series of colorways, including the dubbed “Black” toe iteration. Michael Jordan’s high top sported an all-leather build with a white base, red hits, and the signature use of black on the shoe’s Swoosh and toe box. The colorway has been a cult-classic since its inception with new colorways within the Jordan line revamping the thematic look. As the brand continues to reference the past for its latest releases, the “Black Toe” returns with the AJ1 Low silhouette, remastered in its original form. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Toe” releases in-store on Friday, August 4, 2023, in Men’s and Grade-School sizing on a first-come, first serve basis at 11 a.m. at Gilbert and Uptown.
